Downtown Austin has done a great job of greening its urban spaces and making it easy to find shade and cooling in this beautiful Texas city. Tree-lined streets and winding paths between lush green parks and the Colorado River provide stunning views. Located in the city center is 70 Rainey Street, a luxury residential tower with beautiful scenes of the city and nearby waterways.
Design Workshop specified Wilshire FRP Planters in the color Pitch installed in select areas, some of which can be found on the Mezzanine level, lining an outdoor facing section of the trendy cocktail lounge, The Tipsy Alchemist. Wilshire Hanging FRP Planters with perfectly cascading plants are mounted on the face of the residential high-rise above. The design studio focused on an overall plan to provide green space to help mitigate pollution, manage stormwater, support local pollinators, and present a "Garden in the Sky" that offers biophilic benefits for its tenants.
