SMS Terms & Conditions

1. About this program

Tournesol ("we," "us," "our") manufactures and sells its own products. If you ask to communicate with us by text message, our sales and customer-service team will use SMS to discuss your quote, order, or project, answer your questions, and keep your project on schedule.

These SMS Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to text messages exchanged between you and Tournesol. By opting in, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. The program is operated by Tournesol Siteworks LLC, 32990 Alvarado-Niles Rd., Suite 990, Union City, CA 94587.

2. Consent and how you opt in

We only text people who ask us to. We never send unsolicited messages, and we do not buy, rent, or use purchased contact lists.

You can opt in by any of the following:

  • Tell a Tournesol sales representative, in person, by phone, or by email, that you prefer text messages, and giving us your mobile number.
  • Texting us first. Your message starts the conversation and lets us reply.
  • Checking the SMS consent box on a Tournesol web form: "I agree to receive text messages from Tournesol about my quote, order, or project. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. See our Terms and Privacy Policy."

Consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying anything from us. If you prefer phone or email, tell us, and we will use that instead.

3. Messages, frequency, and cost

Messages are conversational and tied to your project. They may include quotes and estimates, order and production updates, delivery or installation scheduling, product questions, appointment reminders, and follow-up after your project. We do not send promotional or marketing blasts through this program.

Message frequency varies with your project and how often you write to us. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. Tournesol does not charge you for texting, but your carrier may. Contact your carrier for details about your plan.

Please do not send credit card numbers, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive personal information by text.

4. Opting out, getting help, and carriers

Opt out: Reply STOP at any time. You will get one confirmation message, and then we will stop texting you. You can also tell your sales representative, call us at 800-542-2282, or email info@tournesol.com. If you later want to resume texting, reply START or contact us.

Help: Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at 800-542-2282 or info@tournesol.com. Reply TERMS to be linked to this document.

Carriers: Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and most other U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Stopping text messages does not end your relationship with us. We will still service your order or project through phone or email.

5. Privacy, liability, changes, and contact

Privacy. We use your name, phone number, email, and business name only to service your project and communicate with you. We do not sell your information. We do not share your mobile number or SMS opt-in consent with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Accuracy and availability. Text messages are not guaranteed to be delivered, secure, or timely. Quotes, pricing, and lead times discussed by text are subject to our written quote or order confirmation. The program is provided "as is," and to the extent allowed by law, Tournesol is not liable for delayed, failed, or misdirected messages.

Your responsibilities. You confirm that you are the account holder or an authorized user of the mobile number you give us, and you will tell us if you change or give up that number.

Changes. We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version at tournesol.com/pages/sms-terms with a new effective date. Continuing to text with us after an update means you accept it.
