Ordering
We have a selection of products available for purchase online at shop.tournesol.com.
For all other products, please consult our Price List. To get an estimate which would include any modifications, freight, and tax, please Request a Quote. Allow 3-5 business days for standard product estimates. Custom project estimates may take 5 to 10 days. For more information, email estimating@tournesol.com or call 800.542.2282.
For products purchased through shop.tournesol.com, you will receive an email confirming your order, then you will be contacted to schedule delivery, and finally you will be emailed when your order has shipped.
The process for all other orders:
1. Please Request a Quote to receive an estimate.
2. You will receive an estimate, or, for more complex projects, you will be contacted by a Project Advisor to discuss your project before receiving an estimate.
3. Review the estimate and confirm product selections, including sizes, materials, options, colors, textures, and quantities. Either approve the estimate or request changes via email to estimating@tournesol.com.
4. If no additional information is required, you will receive an Order Acknowledgement. For products ordered with options, you will be contacted by a Project Coordinator.
5. To release the product into production, make your deposit payment as indicated in the Order Acknowledgement.
5. For more complex projects, our Project Management and Engineering teams will work with you to create the required shop drawing package. Please be aware that this process may take longer to complete.
6. You will be contacted shortly before the product is ready to ship to coordinate the balance payment. Once the final payment has been received, the order will be shipped to the address you provided. If you haven’t yet prepared to receive your products, speak to the Project Coordinator about the delivery site and what to expect. A forklift is usually required to unload pallets from the carrier's truck, but we may be able to provide additional delivery services.
Purchases made through shop.tournesol.com are paid in full at the time of order.
For all other products:
A 50% deposit is due to begin production. The balance payment must be arranged prior to shipping.
We accept payments by check, credit card, or wire transfer. Note: Credit Card payment(s) toward invoices over $25,000 will incur a 3% processing fee even if the payment is split so each transaction is below $25,000. If you want to proceed with your credit card, please contact your Project Coordinator who will send you a secure credit card payment link.

Samples/Product Information
We have many options of colors, materials, and finishes to choose from; you can easily see and order six samples at a time, by going to our Materials & Finishes page.
Colors and textures may appear different from a computer monitor to a physical sample. For example, color shades and hues vary between FRP, GFRC, and Powder-Coated textures. Ensure your finish matches your choice since you can order up to four samples on our Materials & Finishes page.
We have a few product categories and each product has a downloadable Product Details page, describing available sizes, shapes, measurements, weights, soil volumes, and recommended container irrigation modules (for planters). Detail pages are located toward the bottom of each product’s page.
We provide CAD & Models in .PDF, .SKP, .SAT, and .DWG file formats. To download the drawings, please see our CAD & Models.
Shipping/Installation Information

Shipping depends on the quantity of products being shipped. Planters will be wrapped individually and on pallets or they may be shipped stacked. If stacked, unwrapping instructions are sent along with the shipment.
When purchasing products through shop.tournesol.com, we offer scheduled delivery to commercial and residential addresses. At the checkout, you will have a choice of three shipping methods. If you do not have a forklift on site, then you can select an option with liftgate, and your products will be unloaded and placed curbside.

This delivery does not include a liftgate, an available forklift must be on site to receive this delivery.
Shop.tournesol.com Commercial Curbside Delivery with Liftgate
This delivery includes a liftgate, where the driver will unload your item(s) from the truck and place them curbside.
Shop.tournesol.com Residential Curbside Delivery with Liftgate
This option will automatically be selected if your delivery location is in a residential neighborhood. This delivery includes a liftgate, where the driver will unload your item(s) from the truck and place them curbside.
All deliveries are shipped on pallets with commercial packaging. Unwrapping of the product and disposal of the packaging material is the responsibility of the customer. Note any damage in shipping immediately on the bill of lading. Tournesol cannot be responsible for damage discovered after delivery.

Our commercial-quality products are heavy; weights are listed in the Product Details for each product. Shipping is provided through a third-party freight company and includes a scheduled delivery. A forklift or equivalent is required already on site to unload products from the delivery truck. Speak to your Project Coordinator to verify that the equipment on site will meet the needs for unloading the truck(s). Additional freight services may be necessary.
There are assembly and installation instructions for all products which require them. These instructions can be found on the product page in the Downloads section. Potting Media Guidelines
Choosing the Right Potting Media for Your Planters
We recommend using premium-quality potting media designed for optimal performance in container planting. The ideal blend typically includes composted organic material, peat, sand, expanded slate, or shale. This combination ensures excellent capillary action for drainage, retains sufficient moisture, and maintains structural integrity to prevent compaction.
Avoid using field soil in any planter application. Our planters are specifically engineered for manufactured soil mixes. The appropriate potting media may vary based on your project’s unique requirements and location, so be sure to include the soil mix specifications provided in your project documents.
For further guidance, consult with a local nursery professional or horticulturist to ensure the best results. When using Tournesol planters, ensure the soil saturation weight does not exceed 110 lbs. per square foot to maintain planter performance and longevity.
